Key Responsibilities:
• Develop digital twin technology, including porting a Python reference implementation (RF propagation, scene/geometry, radio materials) into a high-performance C++ engine
• Build the API/adapter layer that connects the digital twin engine to VIAVI products, covering task management, live raypath streaming, and database query interfaces
• Drive integration of the digital twin engine into VIAVI's product portfolio to enable realistic network digital twin simulation
• Profile and optimize engine performance
• Validate engine output against the Python reference implementation
Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
• Master's degree (completed or in progress) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong C/C++ fundamentals; working knowledge of Python
• Experience using AI coding agents as part of the development workflow
• Familiarity with network/API programming (HTTP, TCP sockets, REST, client-server communication)
• Experience with Linux development environments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Nice to Have:
• GPU programming experience
• Background in wireless communications, or antenna/EM propagation
• Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and LLMs
